Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	born approx 1836, father andrew rae..birth place scotland, must have married before leaving scotland, on 2nd marriage cert was listed as widdower, when he married sarah conway in york on 1879. In 1901 censes was living in folshill coventry, (now calling himself charles rae). some older family members said that he was a special police constable in glasgow. Would be greatful for any ideas,of where to look in scotland, have looked on scotlands peoples web site. many thanks
