My father was Arthur Thomas born 29:10:1917, Arthur had three sons Douglas, Roger and Stuart, My father had three brothers and one sister, Ernest John (known as Jack born 1915, Betty born 1919, Howard born 1921 and Alan born 1927. I have traced the Poynton family back through grandfather Andrew John born 15:08:1888, great grandmother Lettice Elizabeth born 1867, great great grandfather James born 1841 to great great great father James born circa 1812.
