Think so Sylvia. Must be what woke me. It's pretty early but couldn't resist popping on to see if I'd got a result on my TTF thread. Yes - that is one of my Taylor questions sorted.
Lot of them about:-)))

hmmmmmmm

lobby sounds as if I might like it!

is it corned beef from a can (ie, Fray Bentos) or real corned beef?

There is a supposedly Irish dish that is often served on this side of the Pond, corned beef with cabbage, and that is made with real beef treated in a certain way.

People from Wigan are Pie Eaters and those born in Leigh, Lancashire are referred to as "Lobby-gobblers"

Lobby = dish made from corned beef and vegetables

Well I was living on Norfolk/Suffolk borders at the time so obviously it is a fairly widespread name.

My sister was born whilst we were up there and she was called a Norfolk dumpling:-)))

Yes love blackcurrants.
Goosegogs in our neck of the woods always meant goosepimples.

Not stalking you Cynthia:-))) Just doing my morning round.

I got the nickname goosegog as a child because I was always picking and eating the gooseberries from the bushes in the garden.
