No Michael. No galloping for me and greyhounds are sprinters! Sometimes we come across a hedgehog and dogs are more interested in them than is good for them. Have to put on the anchors then:-))) Unfortunately their eyesight is better than mine and they saw an extremely small one the other night. I thought it was something blowing along in the wind. Have never seen such a tiny one - even on animal programmes.

Generally ????

You mean last night's walk was a bit a gallop ?

( I'm sure gallop is the wong terminology for a dog but....)

Generally a nice calm walk the late night one. Relaxing.

Sylvia - exactly what my sister said about lentils until she agreed to try the shepherds pie. Changed her mind. Thought it was great.

Must say I cannot bear meat with blood showing - but cannot remember the last time I had steak anyway. Avoided ordering it in restaurants after a few tries - never seemed to be the way I liked it.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

yes

I like medium-rare!

OH's father used to like well-done .......... Maitre d' in one restaurant said he could have that "if you insist, but we do not guarantee such steaks"

In other words ....... don't send it back saying it's tough!!

I don't blame for that ... I hate rare steaks.
Daughter number 2 called for the chef after being served a rare steak in Paris and told him to re-light the gas and try again !

Michael

she made friends with an African girl who worked in the same town, girl took R back to her home village, cow was killed, and meat eaten still bleeding but burnt on the outside

Two things got to R ......... the still bleeding almost cold meat, and the fact that it was a poor village and this was the family's only cow that they had killed in her honour

Jeanie .... no it doesn't, we don't like lentils, and we didn't have to add any more veggies, as it has about 6 or 7 different ones in there anyway.

Well I'll try again. Thought I had just posted - maybe I didn't click on submit. Well, it is getting late.

Mine's made with lentils Sylvia. Is yours? I do the same as you serve it with chicken for those who eat meat and for the veggies just the additional vegetables.

Noted no hiccoughs and that you are a dab hand at cooking Michael.

Where did she think meat came from before that then ????
