I am trying to find information about my great grandfather, Frederick Pitchforth Smith, so named because his mother's maiden name was Pitchforth. She had a furniture shop in Oakfield road, Liverpool, around 1900. Frederick owned a furniture shop at 19 Castle street, Douglas, Isle of Man. Fred had a mistress who worked in his shop. he was married to Alice Theresa Mercer. |

I have some details about this family as I have traced the Pitchforth family back from Mary who married Walter Smith. Also had some dealings with others interested in the family. |
