I am trying to find any info on Petty who married Eliza Robinson they had a daughter called Eva M M Petty they came from Hampshire area. I know Petty died and Eliza remarried a guy surname Dawson and moved to London. Any info eg birth, death, occupation or parents & siblings much appreciated thanks

Maybe they were blaspheming at the time of registering him and the registrar just wrote it anyway!!

I can find Joseph on 1881, 1871 and 1861 census but not yet found him in 1851. Nor a birth listed on Isle of Wight FHS site
