I have been posting on here for a while now, and the info i have received has been very good, the only thing is that i have come to a dead end. I really need to find any living people with these surnames from exmouth devon and clacton essex. All i need is just one to come forward and that would make me so happy
Thankyou debbie

Dear Debra

Have you sent personal messages?

Have you got any replies back?

You can tell if a GR member has opened their message, because it will no longer be purple shade on the sent message in your inbox.

Very gently, I would say it is possible that they may not want to come forward.

Unfortunately, this does happen often.

Tread carefully.

With best wishes for your search.

That's too vague a request for unrelated people to be able to help with, of course.

Elizabeth took some time to offer hints here; it would be nice if you'd acknowledged her post.

Have you used the search trees tab at the top of the page?

Good evening all

Debra sent me a personal message about this thread.

Compared to what has been going at times at GR, lets not squabble!!

Otherwise, we wil have to go back to the air raid shelter - again!

Keep trying Debra don't give up your search.

Best wishes all
xx

Hello
To all on here that has been so kind to answer my post. Thankyou.
I am only on here to try and find my stepfathers in laws family, and i truly would not want to affend anyone on here as i am very grateful for all the info i get. I havent put date of births on, as i have in the past. I thought that if anyone had one of the surnames i have asked for then i can go from there.
Thankyou once again
Debbie

Dear Debra

Thank you for your PM.

Yes, I understand.

I would suggest going back to the GR search trees and looking for
the surnames:

LLOYD
PARSONS
SEARLE

You would probably know the time period you need.
Widen the search area to the neighbouring district.

If you have had reasonable replies before, can you use this information
to start checking the electoral records for the time periods you know about.

You could search various records.

Good luck with your search.

Very best wishes

It's very nice of you to let us know, Debra, a happy ending is always a good thing.

And I'm sure those who did the legwork will be happy to see their names in lights on Success Stories, as you have done. ;)
