Parkes was born in Ontario in 1909, She worked as a housekeeper in a boarding home untill she was 14 years old, Then she was addmitted to a residential school in Toronto and stayed for three years, She was 8 months pregnant when she moved from school to the Haven,She belonged to the church of England, They were eight children in this family, The baby was born 31/10/1927, And put in a orphanage then addopted in 1929,the baby was called Joyce Parkes, Her addopted name was Bentley, Her addopted parants were James and Martha Anne Bentley,I'm wanting to know about the birth mother and father who is Parkes, |
