Beverley have you looked at the complete index on Ancestry for the marriage?

I've had a little look from 1940 - 1943.

Beverley if Beatrice was born 1917 she would have been 25/6 when she had her first child.

Beverley they married in Brentford in third quarter 1937. Vol 3a pg 1099.

The cert should give Beatrices fathers name to help you narrow down a birth for her.

chrisa

chrisa Report 6 Sep 2008 19:55

The marriage index gives Beatrices name as Beatrice A R Parker so I think the birth that Christine found for you earier for Beatrice A R Green is well worth looking into.

HI Chrisa
i will send of for her marriage certificate, and see if she was green maybe she adopted her fathers name after they married, not the kind of thing that people mentioned if they were born out of wedlock.
thanks

Hi Nerine,
this is possibly them, as Beatrice called her first son Frederick, possibly after her father.
thanks

Beverley my grandmother was born 1905, she was registered under her mothers name. Her parents married in 1907. No-one knew this tilI started doing my family tree & got her birth cert. Luckily she was given her fathers surname as her middle name. She was known all her life by her fathers surname.

I think Christine could be right with the birth & Marriage for her parents that she found for you on page one.

Beatrices marriage cert will hopefully tell you her fathers name, if it does & it matches the name given by Christine on page one ( possible marriage of parents Parker / Green) I would order that marriage cert & the Beatrice A R Green birth cert.
