Find Ancestors

I am trying to find the surname of Jane dob 1804 place of birth Spalford, Notts , who married Robert Weaver dob 1806 place of birth Carlton Le Moorland, Lincs.Roberts's parents were Edward Weaver dob c1717 and Ann(e) Jane Clark dob c1786. Thank you - I hope some kind soul will be able to help me.

Thank you all - I have the details of the 1851, 1861 and 1881 census. and I have Robert's baptism dates. Perhaps buying a birth cert of one of the children is the only way I shall find Jane's surname. I have been corresponding with a 'cousin' found on this site but although we seem to have several ancestors in common I am now finding certain relatives don't share the same dob, for instance my George Weaver's dob is definitley 1851 yet his George was born in 1841. I think that Jane maybe Robert's 1st or 2nd wife ?

My ancestor was William Weaver 1831 to c1912. His father was Robert Weaver but I can't find his details on any census....?

so you probably right and Robert Weaver was married twice, first to Dorothy and then to Jane.

I Should have twigged that with age of youngest child in 1851 compared to ages of other children

well it looks like she could be, but only birth or marraige certs will confirm. Sometimes you just have to buy them if you want accuracy. I have dozens as I am sure many people on here will have.

You say you already have Roberts baptism date .......(which was 1805)........ and yet you posted his DOB as 1806.
