I'm confused. Was Janet in "America" (Canada or US??) as well at some point?
What sort of document are you getting the NUCKERY info from exactly?. Is it handwritten??

Hi MaureeninNY, Sorry for the confusion, the information i have is from the Poor Relief Records in Glasgow, which is hand written stating that Janet Moore was married to a Charles ( looks like Nuckery ) who was a labourer in America , as I can't find any death for her or him in Scotland i am assuming they went to America at some point. Janet was married to allan stevenson in 1901 but he died in 1922.

Jean

Jean Report 2 Apr 2009 16:18

Sorry Sablon I have no idea what happened to her, only what was written on the poor releif records in 1911, it also said they had no children, it was her mother Margaret Stewart who applied for poor releif not Janet, so i don't even know if Janet was still in Scotland in 1911. Think I will have to give up on her for a while.
Thank you all for your help.

Hi Sablon,
I took a look at the family search site you suggested, but unfortunatley the Janet Stevenson you found wasn't mine she was too old at time of immigration, but there are quite a few more to look at also Janet Moore's to check out, so thank you for your time.
