I don't think the name is NOW - I think Yvonne means that she 'knows' that George left Yorkshire for America and she 'knows' he had a son called Stuart and a brother called Miles etc.

For starters, there was no Miles Now born around 1901 anywhere.

1871 in Blackburn, and 1913 in Burnley are the closest ones.

There is no birth, marriage or death ever for a Stuart Now.

If Stuart's father was George, he wouldn't be Stuart Jr ... ?

Maybe you can give a little more info and try to be a bit clearer, Yvonne? Did George have a wife and do you know her name, for instance?

I'd wondered whether the two Now children in Southampton might be children of a woman who had remarried. But everyone else in the household is recorded as SNOW, so I think they're errors.
