Agnes Betts nee Norton/Agnes mitchel

Hello
I am desperately trying to get information on my ggrandmother.
She was born Agnes Norton in about 1862 in Dublin, Ireland. Her father was Matthew Norton. I'm not sure at what time but in 1878 she was in Lancashire and married Thomas betts. They went on to have some children after moving to Chesterfield.
At some point between 1891 and 1901 it looks like they separated and she was living with Thomas Mitchel in 1901 and had assumed his name. My grandmother was Ellen betts but appears to be Thomas Mitchels child rather than Thomas Betts.
If anyone has any info i would be hugely appreciative.
Also does anyone know how i go about looking for an irish birth registry?
