Find Ancestors

Some very helpful people helped me to find Florence Nielson/Nelson recently. She was born abt. 1878 in Middlesex (England). She was married in 1905 to Herbert Horace Johnson.

Could some kind person look her up for me on the 1911 census please.

Yes did try looking but too many. Paid £6.95 for the credits and ended up wasting them by picking the wrong one before I had further information on her. No problem.

Where in Middlesex was she born?

Where did the marriage take place?

Florence was born in Poplar and married in Holy Trinity, 167 Liverpool Road, Islington. Her father was John.

Were they both still alive then, and did they have any children?

Florence was definately alive at that time. She and Herbert had a daughter "Queenie". She then had two sons with Thomas Hogan - Ernest born 1913 and John 1915.

Thanks Patricia. Unfortunately I don't know anything else. I have not yet managed to find out why some people were called Queenie.

The people on GR could not find a marriage for Florence and Thomas Hogan but as I said their two children were registered as Hogan and Queenie was their half sister.

This Florence is born in the wrong area, but as she is in a long list of people she could have been mixed up, and has been married about the correct number of years, with one living child:

Islington connection is good because that's where Ernest was born. Only 8 years between her first marriage and Ernest's birth also. Maybe this is the one.

I have found my Florence L Nelson and her mother Alice L Nelson in Essex in 1901 and would like to find out the address and who else is in the household if possible.
