trying to find out what became of Nell Huskie, my nan Mary's sister . found her in the 1891 census and after that no trace, like she's off the planet. Nell was born in stratford london in 1880 and had 3 sister's and 2 brothers. nell's mum Jane Huskie was widowed in december 1890. please help if you can...Dave

Nell is a shortened name for Ellen or Eleanor

If she was born in 1880 why isnt she on 1881 census?

Nell isn't shown on the 1881. I think she was born later and has been mis-transcribed as 11 on the 1891 instead of 4. She must be the Ellen shown on the 1911 her birth being registered in 1887.

Possible death which fits in with the birth registration found by jax - are you 100% sure of the year of birth as 1880 David?? The year of birth on this death registration is one year out but the informant may not have known the correct year of birth.

Looks like she never married if this is your Nell.

Jane Charlotte Peggs was a widow when she married David E Huskie on 19/08/1895 at St Paul Bow Common her father's name was William Warre Jane was 37.
