James Arthur Mundey & his wife Emma Louisa Boreham( nee Mundey) -Hadleigh essex Info please on any relatives - In 1916 Emma Louisa Boreham was living in Hadleigh Essex at Cambridge cottage, St John's Road Hadleigh- Emma Loiusa had two sons Corporal Henry Mundey-he died in the battle of the Somme- 1916-aged 33- His brother was Wilfred b 1881- Dauhters -My grandmother Dorothy-1887-Bessie louisa -1880 (Married name Kingsbury) Hilda -1895- Hilda l moved from Orsett and married Jack Ellison -they managed the Wagon & Horses at Hadleigh before and during the 2nd World War. My twin brother & myself were born in one the houses near the pub now demolished for supermarket. the family name changed from mundey to mundy around 1901 thanks john mundy |
