Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 57 Send Message	Looking for birth place, date and parents of Alexander Mullen or McMillan, my Gt Gt grandfather, who married Jean Johnston, born Kilmarnock c 1803, daughter of George Johnston (nailer) and Janet Stevenson, in Kilmarnock in 1825. Marriage certificate gives his name as Alexander Mullen, though from 1841 census his name and all descendants shown as McMillan. 1841 census has him born in Ayrshire, died we believe between 1845 and 1851. Any help appreciated.
