Hi, your help is desperately needed

I can only find up to this point of information about my G,G,Grandfather Andrew Muir born 1841 Orkney, Kirkwall, Scotland.

Married to Barbara McAlpine born 1843 in Edinburgh

They had Sons William 1869, Andrew 1875 and Daughters Jeannette 1876, Primrose 1871and Margaret 1878 All of whom were born in London/Middlesex.

I do have some Parish records (Sanday, Scotland) information about the children born to Andrew and Elizabeth Muir but looking at their birth dates it seems I am missing a generation or two!

There is an 1841 record for a family headed by Andrew and Elizabeth, which includes a David and a Stephen............... but Stephen was married before 1841....as per the census info provided on this thread. Unless, of course, there are two families with the same names and birth years..........
