Member Since: September 2007 Posts: 6 Send Message	One of my great great grandads moved to New Zealand in the 1850's and i want to try to find out the reason as his wife left about 20yrs after him!? was he a convict!? His name is Edward Hannam born 08.05.1807 he lived in Bartholomew Close east london and was married to Jane Burkey. I would be so so grateful for any help in resolving this mystery. Nina

Member Since: May 2012 Posts: 1 Send Message	Hi Nina, Edward is my great, great, great grandfather. he was born about 1807. he worked as a tailor to support his family of 12 kids. Somewhere in 1861 he became sick and was taken to hospital where he died "organic disease of the brain". 15 years later Jane and Bertha came to New Zealand. Most of their kids had left England before then. Iam a descendant of William Burkey H Regards Rob Warrington.
