Sydney Alfred Moores. Trying to trace Grandfather

Hi, I am trying to find Sydney Alfred Moores born 1895 Clapham London UK. He married my Grandmother Hilda Violet Turner 2.6.1923.They had a son Alan Sydney Moores born 22.7.1924(my father). They went to live in Shri-Lanka(Colombo) and NSW Australia during late 1920s and early 1930s. Sydney Alfred Moores had a brother Donald and two sisters Ida and Florence. He was last seen during middle to late 1950s. So far no trace can be found of him after that date all contact was lost by the family. It is thought he might have returned to Australia. No trace can be found of him in UK death register or perhaps I have not looked thoroughly enough. |
