I'm trying to find information on my fathers family, the Moncktons. My great great grandfather was William Thomas Monckton (b.C1850 in Tunbridge Wells). Unfortunately i dont know anything about his parents or whether he had any siblings. He married Anne Pace in 1871 and worked on the railways. They had at least 4 children, Beatrice A L (b1874 Stratford on Avon), Ethelred Archibald Edgar (b1875 Prestonville, Sussex), Florence A L (b1878 Epsom Surrey) and Violet Eugenie F (b1881 Epsom Surrey). Ethelred (my great grandfather) went on to marry Margaret Mary Wright and they had 7 children - twins in approx 1896, only one survived, Mable - Thomas Owen (b1898), Cecil (1900?), Herbert (b1902?), Lionel (b1904?) and Ivy (b1906?). Thomas Owen was my grandfather. if anyone has any info on this family i'd be very grateful Samantha Spracklen nee Monckton
