SALISBURY AREA. I remember visiting relatives of My Father Bert (B.S.J) Bennett about 60 years ago. They were dairymen, Mitchells, or had been, probably located going out of the city under the railway bridge towards the North West (Devizes direction) but walking distance from the city centre. My Grandmother Ruth Mitchell, believed born Steeple Langford on 22/09/1866, married George Bennett circa 1889 and settled in Wimborne Minster. Any information or suggestions would be welcome |
