Percy Mitchell was born in Fulham in 1897. His mother was Annie Mitchell nee Harvey . She was born in Ireland c1868. Percy's father's name on his birth certificate was given as Percy Mitchell. Occupation soldier. Annie gave birth to Emily Clara Mitchell in 1899 in Carshalton. Her father was William Mitchell. What happened to Percy's father? Annie stayed with William until she died. Did they ever marry? William was also in the Army Where did she meet William? Did Annie have any more children before Percy? There is talk of a Nellie. Annie was my husband's grand mother and Percy his Uncle. Any help what so ever gratefully received Kathleen |
