I am trying to find information about John Millar a marine engineer married to Agnes Boyd. Believed to be scottish but haven`t been able to trace birth dates or marriage in scotland. There was a daughter also Agnes and there may have been a son. Hope someone can help.

My great-uncle John Millar was born Feb 16, 1839 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland. At some time, he and his brother Thomas emmigrated to Heron Lake, Minnesota. I have not been able to find anything further.
