Trying to find Meldrum

I am trying to find information on a younger brother of my grandfather. He was born Alexander Matson McMuldroch on 18 Oct 1888 at Camlachie, Glasgow, Scotland to William McMuldroch & Helen Smith who were married in 1869 at Calton, Glasgow. Despite the family name of McMuldroch being used at the marriage of my great grandfather and recorded at the births of his 9 children, the family also used the surname of Meldrum on the 1871/81/91 censuses and it gradually was used by most of the siblings. The last record I have of Alexander is his demobilization from the Royal Navy after 7 years service in 1919 still using the McMuldroch name. It is probable that he may have continued his naval carreer in the Merchant Navy and later immigrated to Australia under the name of Meldrum Any contact or information of the decendents of a Alexander Matson 'Meldrum' born 1888 in Camlachie, Glasgow would be much appreciated. Thanks Ron Meldrum
