SCOTLAND -AUSTRALIA Well looks like im the first on here, so i imagine it will take years to get a response! I would love to know more about my ancestors, even dates and places! I have Hugh McWaters married to margaret McCraken abt 1820's they had 3 children that i know of, Jane Griffin Mc, before 1829, Jean died before 1831 lanarkshire in Scotland. and my line Mary Anne born 1821 Glasgow Scotland, and Married Robert Armstrong 1851 Glasgow Scotland. Came to Australia on the Kate in 1851. Robert Armstrong has several options for parents....lets not go there! If any decendants of Hugh read this, i would LOVE to hear from you. Good evening to You, dear Lady!!!
Although I can be of absolutely NO help to You in regard to Your post~~~I respond to Your question with my question about the McWATERS Family.

Dis-connected at the moment, I have been told that the McWATERS Family consisting of MA/abt1830? (do not know His full name), wife, Rose/1823; 2sons ? & daughter, Mary/1864, emigrated from Ireland to USA/NJ in 1868. MA's Brother Thomas McWATERS/1827 also emigrated to Harrison, NJ.

I literally have NO information about their Families; Rose's Maiden Name; their Occupation; Birthdates/Places.

It has also been suggested that their is some relationship between the McWATERS & my Great-Great Grandparents Charles Hassard & Jane Corbett? Would LOVE to confirm this 'link'!

If You have any information which may lead me in a 'positive' direction regarding the McWATERS Family...I will surely appreciate Your input/assist!!!

Suffice it to say...I do hope that You do not have to wait years to get the real response that You need/desire. Giggle!!! Thank You in advance for Your consideration.
