Anyone with information of Edward McGraa of Maryport? Married Agnes Clark. He was related to Stonemasons from Newcastle?.Whilst working as a docker at Ardrossan,Scotland where he had moved (Kilmahew Street,Ardrossan), He was gassed aboard a ship Norwegian or Dutch, trying to save the lifes of the crew on board.I think it was a Wheat supply ship,1920?(There were 2 survivor's I think one being a priest who later went abroad to have a lung replaced)?(There was a news paper clipping but I'm afraid it's too worn out to read, but it was from the ardrossan, saltcoats herald). which left his children, one of them being my grandmother "Nora McGraa" what was known as a "Carnaigie or Carnagie Orphan".Their was also a Samuel(Metro Police connection),then a Marhia pronounced Ma-rye-ah,Margaret(peggy) and a William who died young!.Also a Jack McGraa(brother to Edward McGraa of Maryport! Any info would be greatly appreciated... Surely someone somewhere has info pleasse lol.
