Is anyone tracing the mcdowells from devonport and portsmouth

I am stuck with my 3rd great grandfather william b 1792 married mary ann gerry 1814 stoke damerel devon

nobody can find any cemetory in devon where they and the children were all buried
also i cant find williams parents
can anyone offer me advice please i have contacted devon historian society also the registry office

I nearly choked when i saw your reply how did you find williams parents
Were are they from
Did sarah have a maiden name

I have been tracing this family for more than 15 years now
i have tried search trees but i see the spelling is different

Was willm the only child when did he die
incase i have the wrong death certificate

I hope you can help me more if possible i cant tell you how grateful i am And i would be willing to pay you

not sure it is the same William by the way as it is Dowell and not McDowell so don't go getting too excited!!!

Joyce, I've just been on the phone with Karen Lomax and she tells me that you're are well into the family tree.

I used to be in the RAF with your brother Brian and I was instrumental in getting him back to the UK.

I've just done a bit of McDowell tracing myself and have gone back to Soke Damerel and William Henry McDowell DOB 1848 married Edith Harriet Rundle.
