My Grandfathers name was James McConnell who emigrated to Scotland from Ballycastle, Northern Ireland.

He had a brother named Hugh (who also emigrated to Scotland)
And I think John who remained in Ireland and had twin boys named Dermot and John (who I think are still around the Ballycastle area)?

He was married to Meg McMaster and lived in Skelmorlie, Scotland.

They had 3 sons, James (who still lives in Skelmorlie), William (who is now deceased who had a daughter named Margaret) and John (who emigrated to Oz with his family Allison (moi) John, Gerald & Fiona..

If anyone can help that would be great, never realised that there were so many McConnell's around?

Allie (Allison).
