Find Ancestors

Hi all.
Brenda M N May is/was my grandmothers sister on my mothers side.
Born in Berkshire in 1934.

But no matter how much I look.....I cant find a marriage or a death to match her.
So if anyone is not to busy..and would like to help..then 2 pairs of eyes woiuld be better than one.
Would help me complete the details for all my grans siblings.

Do you have her birth certificate please? Is it possible that she married using one of her middle names?

Do you know her full name?

Im afraid not...sorry rootgatherer...wish i could purchase all certs..but that would be very costly ..and as I am not working because of health reasons....I just dont have the money.

I have sorted all her siblings..its just she is a dead end.
I do not know what the middle names are..which would be a help....

She could well be still alive and still single in which case there wouldn't be a record to find of her.

Have you tried the Electoral Roll. There is a lady on the Records Office Board called Jean who does 2009 electoral roll look-ups.

Would be great to find her still alive...i would so love to find someone with possible photo's of me gran....but so far those i have contact seem to have none..or just dont want to share..which is frustrating and annoying.

Unfortunately not Paul. Older Electoral Registers are kept at main libraries nearest to the address where people lived (only searchable by address and not name). More recent ones can be purchased on disc and searched by name - which is why Jean can offer look-ups.

There is another birth in Reading for Brenda M. R. May so I think the marriage you found will be for her.

Flick..I had replied that it wasn't her as that Brenda was born in 37. ..
Perhaps I sent it to the wrong person...but i did acknowledge that it wasnt her...

perhaps i had sent that reply to Felicty..and not you..hence you didnt get the answer.

Brenda M R is not the Brenda i am looking for...as i found a birth for her in 37.

She could have dropped one of the middle initails when she married..if she married..or if she died..they may not have inlcuded both.....but no idea as yet.
