I am looking for decendants of Frederick Mattock born Chelsea abt 1836,his wife was called Emily,one of their children was called elizabeth(abt 1874)she was my maternal gg grandmother,she married a Frederick Charles Brittain in Aug 1899(balham) and they had 3 girls,one of which was my grandmother Gladys Eveline.I do not know the sisters names!Both parents died of tuberculosis around 1915 and I am led to believe that the 3 girls were placed in a military orphanage in bognor regis(unconfirmed).Gladys married my grandfather Archibold charles Dickens in Feb 1942.Can anyone help? |
