Trying to find my ancestors, beginning with my father Colin Mainds (born around 1920) and his father David Mainds from the Ashton under Lyne area, although I believe originating from Scotland. My grandfather was Colin Mainds, he was born in Dundee and lived in Paisley Scotland. I have some information on the Mainds family as I do believe there is a connection. So I will make my tree available for you. This weekend I will be going to York to visit Aline Mainds who was married to Stewart Mainds, Stewart compiled quite a good family tree so I will be interested to see what information there may be. if you would like to contact me my email address is [email protected].
