My great grandfather was married twice, the first marriage ended when his wife died in childbirth with their second daughter.

Their first daughter was called ALICE LYNN. Her mother was Emma Jane Hughes, daughter of Adelaide Hughes, who married a William Fisher. When Emma died, Alice stayed in Blaenavon with her grandparents, Adelaide and William and their children, one of whom was named Thomas Lancelot Fisher, after Alice's father Thomas Lancelot Lynn; he was born the year Thomas Lynn married Emma Hughes.

The 1901 census shows Alice living with the Fishers, under the name Alice Fisher; her mother had previously been listed on the 1881 census as Emma Fisher, but married under her birth name of Hughes.

If anyone knows what happened to Alice or the Fishers, who lived in and around Blaenavon, Wales, I'd be grateful for any info. Thanks.
