Trying to find information about my GGG Grandmother Eliza Lockwood b. 1802 in Oakley Essex d. 1886 in Mendlesham Suffolk. She was married to my GGG Grandfather Thomas Fellingham. I would be grateful if anyone can throw any light on her.

Thank you.

Hi Lynda. I am not connected but had a look for you.

The marriage of Eliza/Elizabeth to Thomas Fellingham. 5/4/1822. in Mendlesham. Suffolk.
If you track the Parish records for that period you should be able to find the entry for the marriage and it will, hopefully say who the Father was.
The Suffolk Family History Society should be able to tell you where the records are kept. Also, the Library (Main one) for the area should also be able to point you in the right direction.

According to my findings she and Thomas had at least 14 children.
I can find them on the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871 census. Have you got these details.
Her age (Born 1805) stays constant throughout all the census records, but Thomas has a very varied age.
Some records are for Eliza and some for Elizabeth.
If you do not have these details let me know and I will send them to you.
Make sure it comes through on the system that sends me an e.mail through Genes, as with this new site I am finding most of the acknowledgements are only added to the site and not sent to my e.mail box. Ethel.
