Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 6 Send Message	I am looking for the origins of two brothers who left Scotland after marrying their spouses in Dumbarton and came to live in St Helens, Lancs to work in the glass industry. David Lockhart in the 1871 Census (married to Jane/Jean - nee Boyle) gives his place of birth as 'Stirling, Scotland'. The 1851 Census had his brother, James Jaffray Lockhart with wife, Elizabeth (nee Ogilvie) living in adjoining houses in Mount Street, St Helens. Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 6 Send Message	I am extremely grateful to all who are helping me, Ann of GG, Elle and in Newtown has a child born the Third of April and Baptized the Fourth eighteen hundre I am disappointed that we can't find 'David'. Could the Church records be missing the name ? I thought I had found David in the baptismal record as the son of John Lockhart and Mary Dow at Newtown, Campsie, Stirling for 3 April 1801 , but perhaps he is another member of their extended family. Where and when was David (my great-great grandfather) born? Thanks once again for such kindness and commitment in doing this research for me. David Owen Blackpool 31 May 2010
