elizabeth 21 tom 2 and john 10/12 living in notts
1901 6 cherry st eliizabeth 31 head married
tom 12 john 10 leonard 4 millicent 2 and george 1
no sign of william godfrey
there is a marriage of elizabeth linney in 1905 basford notts to eber rawding or andrew capps smith but cannot seem to find them either any help appreciated sharon

im a bit confused now ive looked at my notts baptism disc john 1890 and tom 1889 father thomas godfrey and elizabeth of bingham court where they lived in 1891 then in 1893 a child harold was baptised to william godfrey and elizabeth of cherry st where they lived does he use two different names or have i two different families?

Sharon, I can't see them either! Are you sure they were still around, no chance they emigrated?

If you take a few minutes to look at freebmd, you will note that there are no records for the children apart from births.......and not even all of those. I can't seem to find one for Millicent

The chances are that they left England at some stage

Where did Thomas Godfrey spring from???????

thomas godfrey comes from my notts baptism disc john and tom were baptised to thomas godfrey and elizabeth living at the same place as they are in the1891 census and then harold 1893 were they lived in 1901 census but he is now william godfrey
how do i go about finding if they emergrated? and if they did they left john behind

love the childs occupation too i think thats most kids

Could this be Elizabeth. With the marriage in 1918. I can't find births for the older children under Ella and you will note that William is a daughter and on the original reads as Millicent!
