Sarah Phelps I am trying to find an uncle who was born in 1928 in London. He was registered as Thomas Levason and his mother was Pearl Lavinia Levason. She was unmarried and Thomas was adopted. I have been researching the Levason family for a few years and would love to find out what happened to him.

Hi Sarah
Your comment was posted ages ago so I hope that you are still on here! I am related to the Levason family, but not Pearls side. She was daughter to Peyton Grenville Levason & he was son of Arthur Grenville Levason born 1836 in Whitehaven Cumbria.
My Levason family were all born in Cumbria, my 4 X great grandfather was William Levason, born about 1800. I have been trying to piece together this whole family, as such an unusual surname in what was a small town must surely be related - I wonder if you are able to shed any further light on this for me as you say you have been researching the Levasons for a few years.
Would love to hear from you.

Its very unlikely that Sarah will pick up your message. she only seems to have posted once on the site so is probably no longer a member.

You can try and contact her by sending a PM . click on Send Message under her name. If she still has the same email address she will receive your message and can then reply
