Can anyone please help me find in the 41 and 51 census John Leech, joiner, born Ashton, Manchester c1817. |

there appears to be a a john leich with wife mary and 3 children henry, ann and samuel on the 1851 census, john is a joiner but born in leck, could this be the one |

Thanks Virginia but I don't think that's him, he was definitely born Manchester, married Manchester and in 61 and 71 census still lived in Manchester (Salford). I'll keep on looking for them in 41, 51 x |

Yes Dea that's them in 61, however you have another family member that I don't have, Emma. On GR the Leech family run off the bottom of the page and I don't know how to get to the next page of the census. Thanks for that. |

Don't worry - GR sends you to Ancestry and there are a lot of records missing from Ancestry on 1851 for this area - It is probably not on there! |

Hi Sal, Dea, thanks for the marriage info, I really should get their marriage cert to give fathers details. I'll order one. The only info I have on mary is that she was born in Salford, Manchester, not a great deal of help I know. Thanks again for looking. |
