Cannot trace what happened to her after 1916. In Sept 1916 she had an illegitimate daughter Daphne Langley (Jul-Sep Kensington) who was later adopted within the family. Have not been able to find any record of a marriage or death for her. It is not thought she had any further children. |

That looks good - I assume I need to pay for a death cert to get any further detail? |

I'm afraid so and there is always the chance that it's not her of course but if you really want to find her then I am afraid it is the only way |

Couple of possible marriages ?? A bit later than I would have expected though. |

Ignore above. I suppose you have the 1911 census for Elsie - aged 22 servant in Islington, London ? Can't see any obvious marriages though. |

Just in case you don't have it. Her parents state in 1911 that they have 7 children all still living. |

The 1930 marriage in Newmarket could be a possibility - it was not thought she had any children and this late marriage could fit. |

I am now assuming that HOLLINGS was the surname she used throughout her life, even though she did not marry. |

Who was the informant on the death certificate? Was it a family member? |

The informant was E.J. Chivers of the same address. Not a great deal of help! |

A letter has come to light which would seem to indicate that Jessie Langley had married a Williamson and died sometime in the period 1971-1978 |

I can't find a death for a Jessie Williamson with the right dob but wonder if she may have married again? There are a few deaths with dob 6th March 1895 but this one is right in the middle of the time frame of 1971 -1978: |
