Karen. Tried to email you but could not.
The name originates from England and is an old Devonian (Devon) name that goes back to the mists of time from the Tiverton area. This is the origin of the name.
Lang meaning Long, Beer meaning Small Wooded area (Beer is an old Devonian word) and the A in the middle probably means Man Of. So the name means 'Long man of the small wood'.
