I trying to find any info about a Raymond George Land born 1917 in Eastbourne to George Land and Daisy nee Earl.
Looking at the birth records there were two R.G.Lands born around the same time ,my one in 1917 and the other born 1912.
If by chance anyone reading this has any info about the life of
R. G. Land born 1917 I would love to talk to you.

It is highly unlikely that another relative will read this. However we may be able to help you find them. Are you looking for his ancestors too or are you just researching him and immediate family?

Hazel

Hazel Report 29 Mar 2010 20:08

Thanks LadyKira but I have those . Its what happened after 1947ish that Im after.
Just a chance that someone with him in their tree reads my post and gets back to me.
You never know and worth a posting.
Cheers though Hazel

jansmith Report 29 Mar 2010 20:22

if you think that is the death cert you could get it and it would give details of who registered it and i think his occupation.

LadyKira

LadyKira Report 29 Mar 2010 20:24

Name: Lucinda Firth
Death Registration Month/Year: 1951
Age at death (estimated): 62
Registration district: Bridge
Inferred County: Kent

So she was in Kent

This is the right board but as I said it is a process. Finding his siblings may help us find him.

Hazel, if you knew there were two possible births, you should have ordered the marriage cert from the local register office (not the GRO) and specified that he must be a certain age on marriage.

Am I right in thinking your mum and he divorced around 1947, and you are looking for a second marriage?

Do you think he stayed in Eastbourne?

jansmith

jansmith Report 29 Mar 2010 20:49

meg he died in Berkshire(info on page 1)
