Find Ancestors

I am trying to find the marriage records of my great grand parents Arthur william Lagdon and Minnie Frances Lagdon. They are on the 1911 cencus as having been married for 17 years but so far i cannot find any details of their marriage in order to obtain Minnies maiden name. I have looked at many different ways of spelling the name Lagdon. My grand fathers name was Arthur Charles Lagdon and his marriage licence had his father also as Arthur Charles deceased..this may have been a mistake..as the 1911 census is correct!!

minnie born in Essex..cannot find them in 1901.living in St Pancrus London in 1911..have also not been able to find in the overseas marriages

The ONLY records on there are for a man born in 1878, who died in 1913.
