I am trying to find details of my Grandfather Herbert George Knights born 1880 in or around the parish of Debach - Woodbridge Suffolk. I know he was married to Sarah ? and they had nine children - one of his sons was my father Ernest Henry Knights born 1900 and died on active service in the Royal Navy 27th. May 1942. I would like to know about Herberts wife's maiden name and the rest of their children,namely:-William,Sonny,Dorothy,Bessie,Florence,Muriel,Cathrine and Fredrick. (Not in order of birth). My Grandfather was Albert William Knights born in Debach in 1897/8.His father was Herbert ? Knights,born in Debach in1870. He was married to Sabina Calthorpe on Sep 27 1890 and the 1901 census states they had children Arthur,Bessie aged 10and Florence aged 9,Ethel and Elizabeth. Albert joined the navy and married Nellie in Debach. Albert had a son Alan (my father)who was born in Debach in 1926.
I cannot trace Ernest's name though,Thank you Peter Knights
