1901 gives family and also mother in law Elizabeth Berby - I think this has been mistranscribed as there is a marriage for William Brown and Jane KIRBY JAS 1893 Exeter |

Your grandmothers birth certificate will show mothers maiden name and fathers occupation. Nest step their marriage certificate which will give their fathers names.. You can then trace them on census returns. |

My grandmother Florence May Brown was born in Exeter, Devon 19th Aug 1901 & died in Exeter 3rd Jan 1970, she had the following brother/sisters: Elsie c1894, John c1896, William c1904, Ethel c1905 & Gladys 1911. Their parents were William Brown c1870 & Jane Kirby c1870. I would love to find any information about William & Jane, such as birth/death date, where they were born & possibly their parents information. I know it's quite a big ask, but perhaps if someone could start me off, I could find the rest myself. Thanks in advance. |
