Would like very much to hear from Uncle Fred Kippen's side of the family in Canada. He had twins I believe called Karen and John, and they now have children of their own. My name is Marie Kippen (daughter of John Thomas Kippen) born in Lambeth. My children both have recent ties with Canada one in Toronto and one in Calgary and it seems that the world can go in full circles sometimes, if my children move to Canada they could be living near to my Uncle Fred's family - he was a wonderfully funny man. The whole Kippen family are interesting and wonderful people. I see there are 110 Kippens on this website alone. 2 in Lambeth born in the 1800's I wonder if they are relatives. How the family has spread - dad always said Kippen was an unusual name and that we have a Kingdom of Kippen in Scotland - we didn't believe him but we have in Sterlingshire. |
