Sons of William Bertram Kennett,may have been born USA/Canada as William Went there 1915 and they were born 1915 and 1917 approx.Last record shows family leaving England for Shanghai 1920.William was a solicitor and may have returned to USA/Canada before WW2..

You could try contacting the law societies of the various Canadian provinces to see whether William was a member of the bar here at any time. (All lawyers here are barristers and solicitors, although they may practise more as one than the other.) I would expect that their records would be kept indefinitely.

has links to all of the law societies, and each law society's site will have contact info.

Canadian privacy laws mean that very few relevant BMD records will be available, on line or otherwise. For instance, Ontario births are only available to 1906, which excludes William's sons births.
