JOW - Hannah Sheffield area Hannah Jow, born in 1823/4, married Henry Kershaw (a cutler) in 1842/3. Hannah's father was a grinder (I think James) and Hannah had been born at Stannington. Henry and Hannah had 9children - Martha (born 1841 out of wedlock) Rhoda b. 1843, James b. 1845, Mary Ann b. 1850, Hannah b. 1853, Teresa b. 1856, Farewell b. 1858, Gertrude b. 1863 and Emily b. 1868
