I am trying to trace the decsendants of Daniel Jones (c1822 - c1900) Daniel was born in Gwalchmai, Anglesey, but went to live in Bodedern, Anglesey. He married Catherine Davies, daughter of Owen Davies, Saddler. One of Daniel's sons was a weaver in Penmynydd, Anglesey. Another son became an independant minister around the LLyn Peninsula and the Criccieth area. My great grandfather was John Jones, painter and paperlayer of Bodedern, who eventually moved to Holyhead. |
