Trying to find Jones

MARY JANE JONES/UNDERWOOD/STODDART Born Mary Jane Jones, Willenhall, Staffs. 1878 to Abel Jones (b 1850) and Mary Ann Jones (b 1849). Had 2 brothers Amos (b 1886) and Joseph (b 1884). Mary Jane had son Amos 1900, no father on birth certificate but Mary jane now an Underwood. Another son Isaac born 1902 also no father named but Mary jane still an Underwood. Mary married Isaac Stoddart at the beginning of 1903 but he died aged 31 at the end of 1904 in between they had a son named Joseph Stoddart. I am trying to find where the name Underwood came from as Amos Underwood was my grandfather. Does this ring any bells with Jones' Underwoods' or Stoddarts'? |
