Are you or do you know my dad DEREK DESMOND JONES? He was adopted as a child and married my mum WINIFRED JONES from Glasgow in the 60's. They went to live in South Africa where he was in their Navy. A few years later they returned to Glasgow and he got a job with Strathclyde Police and they moved to a flat in Barlanark. Shortly after I was born (1968), he took ill and was admitted to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. What happened after that is unclear, though my mum got divorced and the last known address was in Edgeware, Middlesex. He will be 63 in May (if he is still alive).
